Ryan Horsfall is Emcee at The Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival

The Bay Area’s magician, Ryan Horsfall, will be appearing at the 15th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate festival, this weekend (September 11th and 12th). And this time he’s the Emcee! Yes, Ryan Horsfall’s taking the microphone to rock the stage as emcee for the Ghirardelli Ice Cream Sundae Eating Contest, (sounds yummy right!). But here’s the best part: contestants must devour their sundaes with no hands, (sounds sticky right!). The contest is a part of Project Open Hand, the first grassroots nutrition program to provided hot meals and groceries to those living with AIDS and HIV in San Francisco.

Ryan will be leading three contests each day, each for a different age group, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. TO learn about what other exciting, chocolately, activities you can participate in at the festival, visit the Ghirardelli Square Website.

Also, if you are interested in volunteering for Project Open Hand, they do hold orientation meetings every Wednesday at 6:00 PM at their headquarters: 730 Polk Street, San Francisco.
