CHILDREN GET A HELPING HAND FROM A MAGICIAN
Benefit Show Will Raise Money to Send Ill Children To Camp
San Francisco, CA, 9/28/2011– Ryan Horsfall, The Bay Area’s Magician, will be performing at San Francisco State University on November 7, 2011 at 7:00 PM to raise money for “The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps,” a non-profit network of summer camps for children suffering serious illness. Tickets are $5, and all profits go to helping the philanthropy send children to camp.
Horsfall has been performing magic and comedy for over 15 years. This special November 7th event will mark the debut of his new show “Gemini,” a humorous and insightful look at where belief, doubt, and magic fit into our world. “I have always wanted to volunteer at “Hole in the Wall,” he says, “but my busy performance schedule has always prevented me. This seemed like a great way to both further my art, and also give back to my community.”
The performance is being sponsored by the San Francisco State University chapter of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity, of which Horsfall is a Brother. “The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps” are the national philanthropy of Phi Kappa Tau, and were founded in 1988 by film star, director, and Phi Kappa Tau alum, Paul Newman.
